As specified for each breed, I test all breeding dogs for relevant health aspects that are common within the breed or as a precaution to ensure that the parent dogs are healthy. All Chicomy dogs have a pedigree and a microchip. Official health checks are always recorded and published on the IT4Dogs page of the breed registry (Kennel Club Netherlands). This is in contrast to dogs without pedigrees, where such registration does not exist. Pedigree breeders must also adhere to various regulations, such as the maximum number of litters per dam, the minimum and maximum ages, and the living conditions of the dogs and puppies. Additionally, I am a member of all breed clubs for my breeds, and my dogs comply not only with the breed registry rules but also with the stricter guidelines set by the various breed clubs. As you may have seen, I am trained as an international judge and regularly judge both nationally and internationally. This unique privilege allows me to meet breeds and their breeders from around the world. This knowledge and experience greatly benefit my breeding plans. While health and temperament are crucial, I also aim to breed dogs that are a joy to the eye—a loving companion that can receive compliments on their appearance as well.
I hope I have clarified some of the differences between the various dogs and puppies available. I am always ready to provide advice when needed. Should any issues arise with your puppy, I am here to work together to find a solution. All puppies come with a purchase agreement outlining our legal commitments regarding warranty, health, and usage. What do I expect from you as a buyer? I would like to hear about your motivation for wanting to purchase a puppy from me and how you plan to care for them. You can do this via the form or simply give me a call. People usually start by visiting to get acquainted. Only when we are both convinced do we proceed to reserve a puppy. I strive to ensure that my puppies bring happiness to their new families for a lifetime.
